Novo Solar Systems was contracted to do a commercial solar installation for the Squamish-Lillooet regional district last past November 2015. Our team arrived to the area and were greeted with some early winter weather conditions and snow on the ground.
This installation was one part of a three part system Novo Solar Systems was commissioned to build. We designed a ground mounted, photovoltaic system for the Goldbridge Transfer Station. This commercial solar installation is a 6.3 KW system and has 24 solar panels in total. The structure was designed and built by Novo Solar Systems and mounted on a concrete foundation also constructed by Novo.
This commercial solar installation is grid tied to BC Hydro. The Squamish-Lillooet regional district commissioned these systems to cut operational cost and generate revenue by selling back power to the BC Hydro grid.
