Home Solar Panel System – Things to Consider

When considering a home solar panel system, there are a few things to consider.

  1. How many solar panels can I install on my existing roof?
  2. How much solar radiation do I get at my location?
  3. What are my current electrical needs?
  4. How many kilowatts will I be needing in my solar panel system?

After a personal consultation with Mark Tizya from Novo Solar Systems, these questions and more can be answered.

Solar Panels to Charge an Electric Vehicle

The smallest solar panel system we sell, the HES-GT-2.5 Grid-Tie System, will allow you to drive 12,500 kms annually. So once your initial investment in the solar panels is paid off, you can smile everyday you drive your car out of the driveway, knowing that the car is running on free energy!

One thing to consider is upgrading to a larger Solar Grid-Tie System. We sell and install 5.0 kW and 10kW PV systems which tie into the BC Hydro electrical grid. Not only will you be able to charge your car but now your house will also be powered by the sun. Investing in a larger systems also means that you if you generate more power than you need, you can sell it back to BC Hydro. Now you will be smiling even more as you drive away from your solar powered house in your solar powered car while money is being put into your bank account.

Solar Power really is a winning solution!
